Spring engagement season was, well, a little different this year. Luckily, COVID and social distancing couldn’t keep the flowers from blooming and true love apart. Despite restrictions, we were still able to (safely) pull off some of my favorite engagement photos to date. Check out three couples who definitely made lemonade out of the lemons and are giving us real engagement shoot inspo!
Bradie & Collin
This shoot was so worth the drive to Illinois! Not only did I have a reason to see a place outside my own backyard, but I got a chance to see the land this sweet couple has, and hear about their plans to build a life and a home. I loved getting to know their love story and having the chance to glimpse into their future, imagining them enjoying a cold drink on a hot summer day on the big front porch they’ll have. Country life looks good on these two!
Kate and Blake
Kate and Blake are two of the sweetest people you’ll meet. And you don’t have to look long at the photos from this session to see the connection they have. Spring and love were definitely both in the air with the red buds blooming and fun moments shared with these two.
Jordan And Billy
What’s better than one adorable dog in a photo shoot? TWO! Seriously. How cute are these dogs? They’re almost as cute as their humans who were so much fun to photograph in and around downtown. We found so many great spots for photos and had the opportunity to shoot both casual and glam shots with real bridal vibes. I think you get to see different sides of them in this shoot: fun-loving, down-to-earth, and tender and romantic.
